KANSAS CITY LUXURY WEDDING VENUES
The Fields at 1890 – Eighteen Ninety
This is one of my favorite venues in Kansas City! It offers two different venues on the same property. One with more of an elegant white luxury look and another with more of a barn feel! Both are so beautiful!
Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art
Located near the Kansas City Art Institute, this venue filled with contemporary art would be perfect for an art lover in Kansas City! The cafe area features beautiful concrete walls filled with windows and natural light. This venue combines dramatic architecture and world class art. It’s sure to help you create an amazing wedding!
Kauffman Center for Performing Arts
Located just north of the Crossroads Art District, The Brandmeyer Great Hall in the Kauffman Center is a breathtaking glass atrium with panoramic views of Kansas City. The hall features incredibly tall ceilings with all-white columns and balconies to grab your guests’ attention upward. The space can accommodate up to 450 seated guests and is a gorgeous canvas with incredible architecture to bring your guests to!
The Nelson Atkins Museum of Art
A classic Kansas City wedding venue! Great for photos and for an indoor wedding! It provides both a luxury and contemporary option!
The Gallery Event Space
Located in the Power & Light District, in downtown Kansas City, The Gallery Event Space is a clean, modern venue with white walls and a stunning black and white LED lighting ceiling. The ballroom features 16-foot ceilings, a built-in stage, portable bars, and floor-to-ceiling windows to a balcony overlooking the P&L District. The space can accommodate up to 400 seated guests and is a beautiful clean canvas for your wedding vendors to work their magic in!
The Abbott
Located in the Crossroads Art District, The Abbott is the perfect mixture of elegance meets industrial with white brick walls and large chandeliers. The ballroom features stunning vaulted ceilings and glass garage doors, perfect for bringing in a photobus or your favorite ice cream stand! The Abbott also features a private outdoor patio with fire-pit tables and seating, with an incredible view of the Kansas City skyline. The space can accommodate up to 500 seated guests and is a perfect backdrop no matter what your wedding style is!
The Grand Hall at Power & Light
Located in the Power & Light District, The Grand Hall at Power & Light is a historic landmark with marble and silver finishes, three gorgeous original art deco lanterns hanging and a mezzanine overlooking the first floor. The ballroom features tall ceilings, a built-in marble bar, and two breathtaking staircases that lead you up to the second floor. The space can accommodate 350 seated guests on the first floor and is a stunning venue rich in Kansas City history, full of gorgeous details!
The Hilton President
Located in the Power & Light District, The Hilton President is a newly renovated historic hotel inspired by the roaring twenties. The ballroom, located on the 12th floor features gorgeous chandeliers, mirrored walls and a stunning terrazzo floor. The space can accommodate 350 seated guests and is a beautiful all-inclusive venue to make your special day one you’ll never forget!
The Little Theatre
Located downtown in the Kansas City Convention Center, The Little Theatre is uniquely octagon shaped with gorgeous marble accents and stunning art deco light fixtures all throughout. The space features 19 foot ceilings and over 5,000 square feet to host your event. If you are envisioning an elegant, classic wedding this venue is the perfect place to host your special day!
Kansas City Club
Located in the Historic Library District, The Kansas City Club is a collection of ten historic spaces with traditional touches and modern elements throughout. The first floor features a lobby area to welcome guests, the second holds three spacious ballrooms – The University, Hearth Room and The Crystal Ballroom along with a Grand Foyer and University Pub. The third floor has a beautiful bridal suite and two event rooms – the Eisenhower and the Truman Room. And the fourth and final floor features another bridal suite and a groom’s clubhouse full of incredible perks! If you are hosting a more intimate wedding celebration, then this place is the perfect spot for you!
Grand Street
Located in the Country Club Plaza, the Plaza West Room in the Grand Street Cafe is a clean, modern venue with stunning panoramic views of the Country Club Plaza. The room features a gorgeous black and white tufted bar with matching black and white chairs, and a central chandelier – perfect for placing your cake under! The space can accommodate up to 300 seated guests and is a great all-inclusive location to host your special day at!
