Early March 2025, I hosted my second in-person photography business workshop in Kansas City, and WOW—it was absolutely incredible! I had the honor of working with eight amazing photographers eager to level up their wedding photography businesses, refine their skills, and create a stunning, high-end portfolio.

What made this event even more special? The models for our styled shoots were all my past brides! It was so heartwarming to see them again and create even more magic together.

Three Stunning Styled Shoot Looks

To help our photographers elevate their portfolios, I curated three unique, luxury wedding looks for them to capture. Each setup was designed to reflect high-end, editorial wedding photography while showcasing different aspects of a wedding day.

1. Ethereal Ceremony & Reception Look

We started with a breathtaking ceremony setup, featuring lush, romantic florals by Good Earth Floral. The soft, ethereal design created the perfect setting for luxury wedding photography, followed by a reception setup that complemented the dreamy ceremony aesthetic.

2. Modern Afterparty Look

Next, we shifted into a sleek and sophisticated afterparty vibe. Featuring a chic modern wedding dress from La Premiere, this look embodied the energy of a fashion-forward wedding celebration—perfect for photographers looking to attract high-end wedding clients.

3. Elegant Bridal Portraits by the Fireplace

For our final look, we captured timeless bridal portraits at the stunning Oakwood Country Club. The soft lighting and elegant setting created classic, refined bridal imagery, showcasing the beauty of fine art wedding photography.

Photography Business Growth & Education

Beyond the stunning styled shoots, this Kansas City photography workshop was all about helping photographers grow their businesses. Attendees participated in branding photoshoots, hands-on education, and networking opportunities—all designed to elevate their photography careers and attract luxury clients.

This workshop was not just about capturing beautiful photos—it was about learning how to run a profitable photography business, stand out in a saturated market, and create a brand that books high-end weddings.
