I loved working with Mariam & Amaad for their Indian/Pakistani mehndi henna wedding reception at the Hyatt St. Louis by the Arch in St. Louis Missouri! I had the great pleasure of working with them for their engagement part last summer which can be seen HERE. The mehndi henna wedding party is a pre-wedding party a day before their official wedding reception which happened the next day at the STL Four Seasons.

There are some moments in life that make you truly grateful. This was one of them.

I would have only dreamt of photographing gorgeous destination weddings with amazing couples and it hit me. I’m doing exactly that! It’s truly such a pleasure getting to work with Amaad & Mariam for their engagement last year and getting to photograph their mehndi and wedding reception. These two are so nice and are truly loved by so many of their family and friends.

When my bride Mariam showed up in her yellow outfit, I was like WOW – Ummm dream client! Dream mehndi henna outfit for sure! I just loved the all of the vibrant colors! And to top it all off, the pink spring magnolia trees were popping out and made for such amazing photos!

And to think that I get to photograph such a fun party – it’s truly a blessing that I hope I’ll never take for granted.
