Mariam + Amaad invited me to St. Louis Missouri (STL) to photograph their intimate Indian/Pakistani wedding ceremony (Islamic Nikkah) in their backyard with their closest family and friends! They welcomed me into their home as if I was family and everyone was so amazing to work with!

Originally, this was supposed to be Mariam + Amaad’s big 3-day wedding weekend with the hennah party and a big wedding reception at the Four Seasons in STL but of course, due to COVID, everything had to be rescheduled. They still wanted to get officially married so they gathered their closest family and friends to join them for their official wedding ceremony which is called the Nikkah! The Nikkah was so simple and sweet!

Family and friends gathered and enjoyed seeing Mariam all dolled up in her gorgeous Indian/Pakistani style wedding dress. These two are both in the medical field and their love story began at the hospital where they both met. They still plan on having their bigger wedding reception in April of 2021 inshAllah!
